The New QueryTracker Success Stories

Congratulations to our new success story this week. Allison Pang signed with Colleen Lindsay of Fine Print Literary Management. You can read her interview here.

New Agents Added to the QueryTracker Database

Several new agents and publishers have been added to the QT Database recently. Check out the box labeled "New and Updated Listings" on the front page of the main QueryTracker.Net site and view their profiles for website links and genres they represent.

Tips, News & Other Interesting Info from Around the 'Net

Rachelle Gardner wrote a motivating article, When Rubber Meets the Road.

An agent and an editor addressed the topic of the responsibility of YA writers. Literary agent Janet Reid blogged about fan mail and how authors' responses can make an impact. Editor Molly Glick wrote a companion post called, A Conversation on Resonance and Responsibility.

I enjoyed this article on tax tips for writers over at the Guide to Literary Agents Blog.

A member of our QT family, Cole Gibson, wrote a fabulous blog post, The Rejection that Changed my Life.

Wishing everyone a fabulous weekend.

Thanks for the great links! I loved the ones for Janet and Molly. It's something many YA writers probably think about at one time or another--especially when their story has the potential of touching so many lives.

Aw *blushes* thanks for the shout out. Hopefully, by posting my darkest hour I can keep another writer from throwing in the towel.
